Don`s Seafood & Steakhouse in Wilkesboro

Overhyped by the hotel front staff where we stayed. Like a Red Lobster...consistant, but wouldn't brag home about it. Blackened alligator app. was good, but this fat kid likes to eat..and definitely was too small to share. Same for dinner portion.

I loved everything about this place. My waiter was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Everything that I ate was excellent, including the fried alligator, my first. I also appreciated their awareness of social distancing which was displayed in the setup for customer seating.

Fried seafood platter, as well as fried seafood plate was EXCELLENT! UNLIKE SOME RESTAURANTS THAT "OVER COOK" SEAFOOD!!! ALSO, EXTREME PROTECTION FROM COVID-19! DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK!!! ALL EMPLOYEES IN MASKS, GREAT SERVICE TOO!!!

One of the best places for a variety of sea food dishes. The place is big and it's beautifully decorated. Our servant was present and helpful. I would recommend this place. The prices are on the higher end but it's worth it.

Amazing service, D'shawn was wonderful and not to mention to food and mixed drinks were amazing!! I highly recommend the Blue Bayou ! Its a classic twist on a pina colada and Is very delicious 🤩🍍

I was not impressed with the service or food that the locals rave about . It was ok , but not worth the price or the experience. To add insult to injury they charged my card 3 times .

A delightful restaurant and bar in Lafayette. They stay open late which is a plus . A traditional Cajun menu with many chef specialities like cajun and bar ( try shrimp Etouffee) or shrimp and catfish combo , or crawfish , or speciality fish Catfish Acadian or the red fish . . All were delicious. The hush puppies were great as well .they have a great selection of beers and bourbon was well . The place is spacious and has a homey feeling . Service is great , we were served by hunter . A positive atmosphere overall . Highly recommended .

Excellent choice for seafood. I recommend the grilled loaded and or garlic oysters. Kevin was the friendliest bartend and helped us make our menu picks. Great southern hospitality. Loved being in the area and will revisit again in the future.

The old fashions were some of the best I’ve had. Can’t recommend the char-grilled oysters enough, just amazing. The seafood gumbo was also phenomenal. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Lafayette is one of the best towns in which to eat in America. Don's Seafood is one of the venerable restaurants that makes Lafayette's reputation what it is. Great service, great food, great experience.

Food was very good. $25-30 per plate price points. Shirt-and-tie atmosphere. Our wait staff was excellent.

So we accidentally came across a true gem. My family and I loved every minute of this experience. Immediately was greeted by De’Shaun. He was such a great host. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food recommendations were perfect. Steak was perfectly cooked and the best oysters I’ve had in a long time. We surely will be coming back when In the area.

we already ordered . and then we seen they had alligator . when I told waitress we've never tried the manager gave a dish on the house. so cool. great food and people

Excellent service and food! We didn't have a reservation but our wait time wasn't long at all... about 10 minutes on a busy Saturday night!
